    mmm… hamburger pie…

and wtf is a size 2 hamburger? and if I went into some place and ordered a size 2 hamburger and they came back with a size 1 hamburger, I'd be like, “hey! I ordered the size 2 hamburger. This is a size 1 hamburger. That's like half of a size 2 burger. Now go and get me a size two burger before I kick you in the nuts.”

    totally.

I don't think that's a good sentence for an example

I've usually heard the term in financial markets and sports.

The mutual fund manager put up some solid gains, but generally still performed just below the average fund.

Despite having 3 guys trying to pull him down, Earl Campbell would usually make a solid gain, when carrying the ball.

I think it's best to "define" it as a "real gain", "a significant gain". Generally above average performance.

No idea who Hermann Necke is or what his Csikos Post is, but I can tell you that a "csikós" is a horseman on the Hungarian plain. Perhaps "Csikós Post" is like the Pony Express?

Csikós is pronounced (cheek-osh), with a stress on the first syllable.

Great video- easy to follow. However, I used wool & the size hook you used but the hat is way too small for my husband. Should I use a bigger hook or more rows of increases? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

"lock in your gains" means that a stock (in this case Chinese stocks) have risen in value to a great degree, and you should sell. Before selling, you haven't "locked in your gains" because all your profit is unrealized — the stock could plummet tomorrow and you would lose all of the gain.

You DO have it in the correct order. Perfect!
However, the only thing off here (and I'm so sorry that nobody told you this yet) is that there is NO sugar-free White Mocha sauce. Starbucks does NOT have that. Your drink is actually riddled with sugar. The Soy Starbucks uses has a lot of sugar in it, so does the White Mocha.

So really, what you should be ordering is a "Grande Half Caf White Mocha Soy Cappuccino."

(John Hinderaker) President Obama has now admitted that the “Buffett Rule,” formerly the centerpiece of his re-election campaign, is a silly gimmick that will raise hardly any money for the treasury. (Actually, it might cost the federal government money, as increases in the capital gains rate have been known to do.) So how about if, instead, we start talking about the Geithner Rule? Start with the fact that as far as we

The "size" is the number of share, so
The bid size is the number of shares that are being bid at that price and the "Ask" size are the number of shares being offered at that price.

Therefore if the bid size is 100 then the current bid if for 100 shares at that price and if the "Ask" size is 1900 then 1900 shares is being offered at the "ask" price

Capital gains are nothing more than how much did you sell something for versus how much you bought it for. Example, if you bought land 5 years ago for $10,000 and sold it for $20,000 your gain is that $10,000 difference. Some other questions that you have to answer are what improvements did you make to the property and their respective costs, because that can increase your basis. I would call a CPA or a free legal service to find out more concerning what your total basis is versus what you sold it for.
