www.MarathonMastery.com Stu Mittleman a fitness coach and ultradistance running champion, began to separate himself from the rest of the ultra marathon field for running, when he set three consecutive American 100-Mile Road Race records in the US National Championships 1980-1982. His fastest 100-Mile Run was 12 hours 56 minutes. In 1986, he astounded the ultra-distance running world when he won the 1000 Mile World Championship and set a new world record by running the distance (1 609.344 kilometers) in 11 days, 20 hours 36 min. 56 sec. In between his 100-Mile National Championship wins and his 1000 Mile World Record, Mittleman set three consecutive American Records in the 6-Day Race, the final one being set in 1985 at the University of Colorado Field House. Stu American record, which still stands: 577.75 miles in 6 Days! Thank you for posting this video. I’ve been wearing some cheap shoes for a few months and my feet hurt after about 6 miles of jogging. I need to buy some better shoes. I’d like to run a marathon one day: not for speed, but for the challenge of endurance. I’m totally out of shape right now. So perhaps I’ll be ready in a couple of years.

Really good sound sensible advice, thank you for giving your time to help others

Shoes are terribly important, you can gain improvements in balance in motion, protect from fallen arches and also help alleviate back pain from properly fitting shoes. Also down at heal or worn shoes can lead to tiredness and other muscle problems…

    Thank you…

Holding plank pose for long periods of a time always challenges me. One of my favorite instructors at my CorePower studio did a crazy difficult ab sequence featuring lots of boat pulses, bicycle sit-ups, reverse crunches, and then topped this all off with several reps of plank. It was killer. I also suck at any of the arm balances. One of these days, I'll finally figure out crow. Lol….

I haven't seen the show, but I've seen the promos for it on VH1. Michaels seems like he's got a serious case of arrested development, still acting like a 16-year-old boy. He should grow up and act his age. Pathetic.Maybe on the next show, Michaels can send the chickies out to the Lids shop at a nearby shopping mall so that the girls can battle over who can find the nicest baseball cap to cover Michaels' balding pate.

Saw Takers last night at a premier in my city… Good movie! Hope all the Moguls check it out on 8/27/10. We all know how big opening weekend is… this is no different!! He-Moguls… the action sequences are hype. She-Moguls… There is SOOO much eye candy in this movie my teeth STILL hurt! And if you are She-Mogul like me, who likes eye candy and action sequences… settle in for a GOOD look. Shout out to Rain Forest Productions!! Peace and Love.

Great video. Its worth noting that this (beautiful) mogul field is on a shallow, single fall line slope. Skiing a mogul field on a double fall line or a very steep slope is much more challenging because the moguls are long and huge, with a deep trough and walls so steep you can’t just drive over them. In most of the resorts where I ski (MI) these double fall line/steep mogul fields are all you encounter, because they groom all the single fall line slopes daily. Death to the groomers!

Nothing works my body like the old classic Firms, especially vols 1-6. Not only were/are they tough and intelligently designed with room to grow, there was such a *grace* to them. They added elegant dancer's moves and stretches and made me feel feminine as well as strong. The synchronized movements to original music was another important and unique facet. All I have to hear are bits of the individual tunes and I know *exactly* what exercises went with them. Really excellent, enjoyable workouts!
